The day’s agenda includes a Graduation Mass, Guard of Honour, and Oval Presentation.
This event is open to all free of charge however, we kindly request that parents and guardians confirm their attendance by RSVP through the provided link above, before 5:00pm on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Graduating students will be allocated seating alongside their fellow graduates and are not required to book tickets.
Brothers of Graduating students who attend Marist College Ashgrove are encouraged to attend Graduation Mass with their families. To include these additional attendees, please provide their details in the Year 12 Graduation RSVP Link below
9:00am – Arrival / Doors Open
Year 12 students and their families arrive and make their way to the Champagnat Centre for Graduation Mass.
9:30am – Graduation Mass
Graduation Mass commences in the Champagnat Centre for Year 12 students and their families.
11:15am – Guard of Honour
Guard of Honour commences for Year 12 students and their families from the Champagnat Centre to McMahon Oval.
11:45am – Oval Presentation
The presentation on the oval will take place following the conclusion of the Guard of Honour with Year 12 students, parents and guardians seated in marquees on McMahon Oval. Other family members are invited to sit in the grandstand. Brothers of graduating students who attend Marist may sit with their family members in the Grandstand or join their Pastoral Group in the Grandstand for the Oval Presentation.
12:30pm – Event Concludes
The farewell will conclude at approximately 1:00pm and all Year 12 students and their families will leave the College to prepare for the dinner in the evening. Students in Years 5 to 11 will return to class.
Light refreshments including water will be provided for parents and guardians, and Year 12 students on McMahon Oval after the Graduation Mass and Guard of Honour.
Please note that onsite parking will not be available and street parking is limited, please consider alternative travel arrangements. Please also note that O’Connell Place (adjacent to Frasers Road entrance to the College) is private Australian Defence property and fines may be issued for parking illegally.
