P&F News

Dear Parents and Friends,

Thank you to the 20 parents who attended the Annual General Meeting of your P&F on Monday 25 February.  Thank you also to Peter McLoughlin and Bruce McPhee for your ongoing support.  The minutes and reports will be made available on the College App.

Congratulations and thank you to our new Executive members – Fiona Forbes (Secretary) and Andrew Howse (Treasurer) and to Jim Gordon on your re-appointment as Vice President.  Thank you to Jackie Knight and Sarah Jewell for your years of service.

Our next meeting will be held on Monday 27 May – all welcome.

Marist Card and Games Day – Wednesday 27 February

We would like to give a huge thank you to all the lovely Marist Mums who volunteered at the first Card and Games Day of the year. We couldn’t have put on such an enjoyable day without you all.  We would also like to thank our many, generous bakers for their delicious goodies.  Our 62 attendees very much appreciated the beautiful food. We are so grateful to those who donated raffle prizes as the prize draw is always a highlight of the day.

The next Card and Games Day will be held on Wednesday 22 May, so please mark the date in your diaries.  Any help is always appreciated.

Parent Functions

Our Year 5 parents unfortunately missed the chance to have the first parent function in the renovated Tower (if only Oma could make up his mind).  We did however see the room empty when Peter McLoughlin offered the chance for a tour.  A great night was had by the 150 attendees, many of whom, I am sure, would have stayed all night if our liquor licence permitted.

The next gathering is for year seven parents on Friday 29 March.  Barring cyclones, it will be held in the Tower.  Keep an eye out on the app for booking details.  Like any good Catholic function, we’ll have a bar serving beer, wine and bubbles.  EFTPOS only please – no cash.

Fees Raffle

Our first Fees Raffle for the year is live, and tickets are selling fast.  Go to the Rafflelink site to purchase tickets

Mother & Son Morning

After the success of last year’s inaugural event, the Mother & Son Morning is back on Sunday 24 March.  Last year sold out in a matter of days so keep an eye out on the app for booking details.
