Graduation Day celebrations commence with a 9:15am arrival for Year 12 students, parents and guardians. The day will consist of a Graduation Mass, Guard of Honour and Oval Presentation.
This event is free of charge however parents and guardians are required to RSVP via the Humanitix link below and select their seating for the Graduation Mass by 5.00pm on Friday 5 November 2021.
In order to comply with the correct social distancing requirements, only two adults per Year 12 family will be able to attend. The event will be recorded however and will be available to view live or as a recording after the event. Please use the below link to access this stream. Please be advised that masks may be required to be worn by all students and guests for the Graduation Mass and Guard of Honour and all guests will be required to sign in via the Check in Qld app upon arrival.
Marist College Ashgrove brothers (siblings) of graduating students are welcome to attend the Graduation Mass with their parents. Please include their details on the Year 12 Graduation RSVP Link provided above.
- Students: To wear their full winter uniform and blazer. As it is usually very warm, blazers need only be worn during processions and other formal moments.
- Guests: To wear comfortable smart casual attire. It is also advisable to bring a hat or umbrella for the times they may be in the sun.
Light refreshments including water will be provided for guests and Year 12 students on McMahon Oval after the Graduation Mass and Guard of Honour.
Parking and Transport
Onsite parking will not be available and street parking is limited, please consider alternate travel arrangements. Please also note that O’Connell Place (adjacent to Frasers Road entrance to the College) is private Army property and fines may be issued for parking illegally.

Graduation Day Program
9.00am – Arrival
Year 12 students, parents and guardians may arrive from 9.15am on and will make their way to the Champagnat Centre for Graduation Mass. Please ensure your Humanitix RSVP is ready on your phone or printed for entry.
10.00am – Graduation Mass
Graduation Mass commences in the Champagnat Centre for Year 12 students, parents and guardians, and MCA brothers (siblings) of graduating students at 10.00am.
11.45am – Guard of Honour
Guard of Honour commences for Year 12 students, parents and guardians, and MCA brothers (siblings) of graduating students from the Champagnat Centre to McMahon Oval.
12.15pm – Oval Presentation
The presentation on the oval will take place following the conclusion of the Guard of Honour with Year 12 students, parents and guardians seated in marquees on McMahon Oval. MCA brothers (siblings) of graduating students will join their Pastoral Group in the Grandstand for the Oval Presentation.
1.00pm – Event Concludes
The farewell will conclude at approximately 1.00pm and all Year 12 students and families will leave the College to prepare for the dinner in the evening. Students in Years 5 to 11 will return to class.
