VET is a learning pathway that provides students with the opportunity to engage in education and training which may lead to employment and/or further study. It also caters for those students wishing to enhance their course load with a practical subject or for those looking to add skills and experience.

Vocational courses on offer at Marist College Ashgrove are selected based on current research into industry trends, employability and student demand. Our programs are broadened through access to courses offered by external Registered Training Organisations. This gives students an opportunity to access courses that the College cannot provide.

All VET courses are nationally recognised and allow for articulation or advanced standing to institutes in Australia offering national competencies as part of their course.

Our VET courses focus on work readiness through a comprehensive Work Experience Program. This provides an opportunity for students to develop work-related employability and life skills through an active “hands-on” learning environment.
