At Marist College Ashgrove we strive to meet the needs of all students and their families by creating an environment that inspires spiritual, academic, cultural and sporting excellence.

Furthermore, we are committed to providing an inclusive schooling environment which supports effective classroom programs that value the diversity of students. The College offers a fully integrated program with a strong focus on differentiation.

The Marist College Ashgrove, Centre for Learning Enrichment (CLE) is committed to building the capacity of teachers to deliver effective classroom programs that value the diversity of students in inclusive learning environments. The Centre does this by providing College teachers with current and relevant information and practical ways to support students with diverse learning needs.

The CLE works collaboratively with the entire College community, including parents, to provide consultation, support and professional development in order to meet the needs of students.

Learning Enrichment at the College is provided in the following areas:

  • Learning support
  • Gifted and Talented
  • English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D)

The Learning Enrichment department is a part of the total education system at Marist College Ashgrove. The department works collaboratively with all areas of the College, but predominantly teaching staff, to nurture and develop students towards their full potential. This is done through flexible and structured programs; reasonable inclusion and equitable access to learning for all.

Before and after school tutoring is available for all students, this is organised through the Learning Enrichment department.
