Montagne Residence caters for 28 Year 8 boarders. Named after Jean-Baptiste Montagne, a dying 16 year-old boy discovered by St Marcellin Champagnat on his pastoral rounds in revolutionary France. St Marcellin was struck by the lack of Christian knowledge Jean-Baptiste possessed inspiring him to form the Marist Brothers to ensure that rural children would have the opportunity to learn about God.
Montagne residence is spread across a single level, located directly above the Year 7 La Valla residence.
The focus for the boys in Montagne residence is to build upon the foundations set in Year 7.

Montagne residence is coordinated by Mr Josh Mulligan. Josh provides a warm and welcoming residence for the boys of Montagne and their families to consolidate the foundations of a successful boarding experience.
