As the senior boarding hub, Br Terence residence caters for 78 boarders. Positioned above the beautiful Derek Cameron Oval with city views, Br Terence was opened in 1995, and named after the late Br Terence Heinrich fms who was Head of College at Marist College Ashgrove between 1991 and 1996.
Br Terence residence has a large open foyer that commands the entrance space, off which branches the four residential wings (on first and second levels). Each wing has its own fully equipped common area facilitates.
Br Terence residence also has a separate ground level with an open courtyard, large recreation and tutoring areas as well as a purpose-built laundry and drying room for student use.
Br Terence Heinrich was a deeply spiritual and humble man with a hands-on, no fuss approach to his work and leadership. This is exactly the type of young man the boarding school seeks to develop as leaders of the boarding school and in preparation for life beyond the College gates.
Br Terence residence is coordinated by Mr Anthony Mathison. Anthony, an old boy of the College, is acutely aware of the opportunities that are uniquely presented to the seniors of the College and very much walks alongside our young men as they complete their Marist boarding journey.
