Primary Teacher

Marist College Ashgrove is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12, situated in Brisbane's inner Northern suburbs. Inspired by the work of St Marcellin Champagnat, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent academic and career pathway results for our inclusive community of students.

The College invites applications from suitably qualified and enthusiastic teachers for the position of Primary Teacher, commencing 20 January 2020. The successful candidate will be an experienced, energetic and dedicated teacher with the desire to teach in an environment where both Christian values and academic excellence are emphasised.

Applicants must be registered to teach in Queensland.

The ideal applicant will have:

  1. Demonstrated excellent teaching practice and experience in teaching either Year 5 or Year 6;
  2. Relevant Primary Teaching qualifications including a Graduate Certificate in Religious Education (compulsory)
  3. Demonstrated capacity to integrate ICTs into teaching and learning;
  4. Willingness to participate in the College's extensive co-curricular program; and
  5. Commitment to the Catholic and Marist ethos of the College.

If your application is accepted for the next stage, you will be invited to attend an interview.
