Primary Teacher – Job-share

Marist College Ashgrove is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12, situated in Brisbane's inner Northern suburbs. Inspired by the work of St Marcellin Champagnat, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent academic and career pathway results for our inclusive community of students.

The College has a vacancy for a Primary Year 6 Teacher for 2020 starting 20 January 2020 – 2 December 2020.  This is a fixed-term, part-time job-share position of a 0.4 FTE.  Days of work are Monday and Tuesday during the College term.

Selection Criteria:

The applicant will have:

  1. Registration to teach in Queensland;
  2. Qualifications supporting, and experience in, teaching the Year 6 curriculum;
  3. Graduate Certificate in Religious Education or equivalent;
  4. Demonstrated capacity to integrate ICTs into teaching and learning;
  5. Willingness to contribute to the College's extensive co-curricular program; and
  6. Commitment to the Catholic and Marist ethos of the College.

The Recruitment Process
