Library Technician – Relief Work
Marist College Ashgrove is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12, situated in Brisbane's inner Northern suburbs. The College has a position for a Casual Library Technician to backfill the Resource Centre when the need arises. This position is a Level 4 casual position, currently $37.4145/hour.
Tertiary qualifications at a Certificate level or equivalent in library and information services, recognised by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) is highly desirable or knowledge, qualifications and experience that are determined by the employer as necessary to successfully carry out the duties of the position.
Essential Selection Criteria:
The ideal applicant would demonstrate:
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated capacity to navigate on digital platforms and data entry and word processing skills at a high level;
- Knowledge of Softlink OLIVER or a similar library system

Preference will be given to applicants who have prior experience in this or a similar role.
Applicants should hold, or be eligible to hold, a Blue Card, issued by the Public Safety
Business Agency.
