Mission - Team

 

Assistant Head of School – Mission: coordinates the Mission Team, works to foster and maintain the Catholic ethos, Marist charism, key values and traditions of the College, with particular responsibility for the formation of the whole College community in the Marist way of living the Gospel.

Head of Religious Education: leads, promotes and develops Religious Education programs that are central to the evangelizing mission of the College. Education in Religion, which is the focus of Religious Education, complements the Faith Education program.

Director of Mission (Junior School): administers Religious Education in the Junior School, coordinates prayer and liturgy and reflection days for students. Responsibilities include the promotion of leadership and personal responsibility amongst students.

Campus Minister: works in partnership with students, teachers, families and parishes to provide practical support in the journey of faith. The Campus Minister focuses particularly on spiritual formation, service, justice, prayer, liturgy and community development.

Chaplain: Marist College benefits from the full-time services of a Marist Father as Chaplain. The Chaplain’s sacramental, pastoral and church ministry services to the College community are especially significant in the broader mission of the College. Through personal interview each year, the Chaplain is able to support each Senior student.
