Faith Education

The development of faith is an important element within the boarding school and the boarders are encouraged to participate in a range of religious activities including regular Mass attendance, school retreats, reconciliation, community service and nightly prayers.

The service to others aspect of our lives at Marist is supported through the M.A.T.E.S (Marist are taking everyone seriously) programme operated by the College Mission team. Boarders are encouraged to be involved fully in the various projects on offer.
  • BBQ for the Homeless (run all year round)
  • Little Kings Movement visitations
  • Caboolture RSL Care visits
  • Overseas immersions to Vanuatu, Cambodia, Fiji and the Solomon Islands
  • Charity collections

Our weekly Boarding Mass is the pinnacle of our week and a vital all community experience. The weekly mass takes place in our beautiful College Chapel located in the heart of the College.

The boys are encouraged to participate fully with singing, music and serving. Senior boys are carefully trained in the role of Eucharistic Ministers and serve the wider College community at large school masses. We are one of the few Catholic Colleges to retain the services of a live in Catholic priest as a chaplain.

The boys enjoy the energy and spirit of Thursday night singing practice in the Chapel. This takes place at 6.30pm.

Mass is at 6.45 pm on each Sunday and families who are resident in or visiting Brisbane are always welcome to share in our liturgy.
